Job Summary
As a Mobile Pet Groomer at Furry Land Columbus, you’ll be part of a team dedicated to making grooming a positive experience for pets and their families. With state-of-the-art grooming vans and a loyal client base, this role offers stability, flexibility, and exciting career opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Drive a 2023 Mercedes Sprinter van equipped with advanced insulation for year-round comfort to appointments in the Columbus area.
- Perform professional grooming services, including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling based on breed standards and client preferences.
- Handle pets gently and safely throughout the grooming process, employing positive reinforcement techniques.
- Assess pet coat and skin conditions, noting concerns and communicating them to owners.
- Educate owners on proper grooming practices and recommend home-care products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming van, sanitizing tools and supplies.
- Manage appointments effectively to ensure timeliness and productivity.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and maintaining a professional demeanor.
Requirements
- Genuine love for animals.
- Proven grooming experience, including knowledge of breed-specific grooming and coat care.
- Valid grooming license for the service area (required).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely handle pets of all sizes, temperaments, and breeds.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
- Detail-oriented, with a commitment to delivering high-quality grooming services.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours when needed.
- Certification from a recognized grooming school is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs or manage large dogs temporarily.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
