Furry Land of Little Rock is seeking skilled and enthusiastic Mobile Pet Groomers to join our team. Responsibilities:

· Drive our state-of-the-art 2023 or 2024 Mercedes Sprinter vans to scheduled appointments in central Little Rock and the surrounding areas – equipped with the latest insulation technology to ensure you can work in comfort all year long.

· Provide professional grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling according to customer preferences and breed standards.

· Ensure the safety and comfort of pets throughout the grooming process by employing gentle handling techniques and positive reinforcement.

· Conduct thorough assessments of each pet's coat condition, skin health, and overall well-being, and communicate any concerns to the pet owners.

· Educate pet owners on proper grooming techniques and recommend appropriate grooming products for home care.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming van, ensuring all grooming equipment and supplies are sanitized and well-maintained.

· Upholding and maintaining Furry Land property and the vehicle, returning it clean and fueled for the next shift, as well as completing daily maintenance operations.

· Engage in marketing efforts and events within the territory and our online social media accounts

· Schedule and manage digital appointments via a smartphone, ensuring timely arrivals and efficient use of time to maximize productivity (5 pets a day is the minimum expectation after first 90 days, pending appts).

· Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, addressing concerns, and always maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.

Requirements:

· Proven experience as a professional pet groomer, with a deep understanding of various grooming techniques, breed-specific cuts, and coat types.

· Valid driver's license and a clean driving record, with the ability to drive a grooming van safely and efficiently.

· Passion and love for working with animals and a demonstrated ability to handle pets of all sizes, temperaments, and breeds.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with pet owners and provide outstanding customer service.

· Strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality grooming services.

· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet appointment schedules.

· Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours based on customer demand.

· Must pass a criminal background check.

· Ability to lift 75lbs and/or heavy dogs temporarily.

Job Type: Full-time mobile pet groomer/bather

Work Location: On the road

Pay: ranges from $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Compensation package:

· Bonus opportunities

· Commission is 25% of ticket price plus 100% of the tip

Schedule:

· 10-hour shift; either a 3-day or 4-day work week (work schedule(s) available may be based on the availability of the vans at time of hire; management will work with potential new hires to accommodate their preferences, as best as possible)

· Holidays (closed): Easter Sunday, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day

Education:

· High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

· Pet grooming: 2 years in all dog breeds; cat experience or desire to learn (Preferred)

License/Certification:

· Clean Driver's License (Required)
