Job Responsibilities:

Drive our fully equipped grooming van to appointments in the Baton Rouge area.
Provide professional grooming services, including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling.
Ensure pet safety and comfort using gentle handling and positive reinforcement.
Assess pets' coat, skin health, and well-being, informing owners of any concerns.
Educate pet owners on grooming best practices and recommend home-care products.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of grooming equipment and the van.
Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximize productivity.
Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.

Requirements:

Passion for animals and a love for pet grooming.
Professional grooming experience with expertise in breed-specific cuts and coat care.
Valid grooming license (where required).
Valid driver’s license & clean record (ability to drive a grooming van safely).
Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with pet owners.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality grooming.
Ability to work independently, manage time, and adapt to scheduling needs.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
Grooming certification from a reputable school is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs (including heavy dogs when necessary).
