Key Responsibilities:

Drive our grooming van to appointments in the Jacksonville area, ensuring a timely and professional arrival.
Provide expert grooming services such as bathing, brushing, trimming, and breed-standard styling.
Prioritize pet safety and comfort, employing gentle handling techniques and positive reinforcement.
Assess pets’ coat and skin health, communicating any concerns with owners.
Educate clients on home grooming techniques and recommend appropriate products.
Maintain a clean and organized van, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized.
Manage appointments efficiently, maximizing productivity while delivering exceptional service.
Build positive relationships with clients through friendly, professional communication and top-notch customer care.

Qualifications:

Proven professional grooming experience with expertise in breed-specific cuts and grooming techniques.
A valid grooming license for the service area (required).
A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Passion for working with animals, with the ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality grooming.
Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and address their needs.
Self-motivated with strong time management skills.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, or extended hours as needed.
Certification from a reputable grooming school is highly desirable.
Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and handle larger dogs when necessary.
